Aldo Biglione Bio

Aldo Biglione mastered the art of engraving at the School of Fine Arts of Tucuman, the Fernandez Lopez Anaya Institute, and the "Ernesto de la Carcova" Superior School of Fine Arts, Argentina.
Biglione's work can be found in the Pubic Library of New York City; the Modern Art Museum of San Francisco; the Pratt Center, New York; the University of South Florida, Tampa; the Museum of Pan-American Union, Washington D. C.; the University of Guanajuato, Mexico; and in other public and private collections.
In 1999, Aldo's carvings were exhibited at the "VIII Gathering of Contemporary Latin American Writers and Visual Artists," Providence, Rhode Island; and, at the "Second Gathering of Contemporary Latino Visual Artists," at the Multicultural Education Center, Central Michigan University.
An award winning printmaker, Biglione also paints using acrylics and mixed-media. Too, Professor Biglione is the author of the Dictionary of Fine Arts, a two-volume collection published in Spanish in Argentina. He has been a visiting artist in the Department of Art at Central Michigan University.
Since 2000, Aldo Biglione has resided in Harlingen, Texas with his wife Beatriz and their family.
